Amy Huett grew up in Southern California playing for the Orange County BatBuster 16U A team at 12 years old. At age 15 she was invited to join the 18U A team (Elite league at the time). Loyal to the BatBuster organization, Amy was personally coached and trained by Gary Haning, who is still e coach of the OC BatBusters and co-founder of the Premier Girls FastPitch on the West Coach.

After High School graduation Amy was highly recruited by many D1 Schools across the country.

As a highly respected pitching coach, Amy's primary focus is the pitcher's safety. Amy believes that pitching techniques need to teach speed, accuracy and movement, but not at the expense of the pitchers body. Therefore, she has used her knowledge in physics and kinesiology to help pitchers reach their potential while avoiding injury.

They have earned D1 scholarships over the years as well as becoming High School State Champions, ASA State Campions, USSSA State and National Campions, High School and College Records Breakers, Athena Award Winners, National Tournament MVP winners, Members of the Metro All Star Team, Star Tribune Metro Player of the Year, Times Player of the Year, North Player if the year, Sports Illustrated recognized Windmill Factory graduate still holds the State Strike out record. The average speed of a Windmill Factory graduate is 68mph.

Amy is and continues to be the type of coach who strives to reach the heartland potential of each one of the girls that seeks her help in developing into one of the best pitchers on softball. No one is ever turned away.
